Jerry Winick

Jerry Winick is an artist who uses a pencil as a painter uses a paintbrush.  He has taken the art of pencil drawing to new heights. 

Winick spends many hours at the drawing board creating each of his pieces.  Winick's style of photorealism is so unique that most people, when viewing his work for the first time, find it difficult to imagine that these drawings are done with only a pencil.

He has won more than 300 awards for his drawings and his works may be found in numerous private collections as well as in museums in the New York metropolitan area.

Jerry teaches pencil drawing in Pencilworks Studio as well as the Wayne Adult School, Emerson Adult School, Wayne Boys and Girls Club and the Wayne Civic Center.

Michelle Winick

Michelle Winick has been teaching painting and drawing class to children of all ages for the past 9 years.  She teaches at Pencilworks Studio as well as the Wayne Boys and Girls Club and the Children's Cultural Workshop in Wayne.  Michelle has created all of the projects that go into her art workshops.  Every project gives children the opportunity to express themselves through different mediums of art.

Christine Soccio

Born and raised in New Jersey, Christine attended The School of Visual Arts in NYC earning a BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. She studied painting, drawing, sculpture and photography along with design. For the last 17 years she has worked as an Art Director, in the advertising industry but her love of painting has never left her. Bold colors and composition are inspired by nature and the things around her. She now paints and takes great joy in bringing happiness to the people who are the recipients of her paintings.

Christine will be teaching the Abstract Painting class.
